Add a Tip to Help End Poverty

Donate to the Trussel Trust

Hey, thanks so much for spending some time on my little site. It means the absolute world to me that you've shown an interest in what I'm trying to achieve in the multiverse. Thanks also for landing on this page.

who's the trussell trust?

As you can see, I'm supporting a charity called The Trussell Trust. You can find them at trusselltrust.org, and basically, they work every day to end poverty and hunger in the UK. They support a nationwide network of food banks, provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.

In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty, including 4.5 million children. Trussell Trust supports more than 1,200 food bank centres in the UK to provide a minimum of three days’ nutritionally-balanced emergency food to people who have been referred in crisis, as well as support to help people resolve the crises they face.

We all know that it takes more than food to end hunger. That’s why the trust brings together the experiences of food banks in their network to challenge the structural economic issues that lock people in poverty, and campaigns to end the need for food banks in the UK.

how can i help?

So on this little site, you can help in two ways. First, if you're picking something up in my store, like RPG encounter decks or apparel, or even just a gift card, at checkout you'll have the option of adding a tip. It can be 5%, 10%, 15%, or even a custom tip, and it's as easy as pie to add just a small amount to your purchase that'll go a long way. I'll fire over to the trust 100% of that tip, and you can come away knowing that you've paid some kindness forward to some folx who're really struggling.

Also, you can donate to the trust directly. Just click the image above or this link to trusselltrust.org/make-a-donation/ and you'll be taken to their site to do your thing.

  • £10 could help give a parent peace of mind that their family will not go hungry tonight.
  • £20 could help support someone take their first steps out of poverty.
  • £50 could help the trust give more people a place to turn to in times of crisis.

Thank you so so much for helping to support this really worthy cause, and remember to share what you've done online so word can spread! :-)
