what's in this deck?

Dungeon Build. Snap together your map cards to quickly design a dungeon location while planning or during a session, even revealed card by card if you like, giving players a visual presentation of how your dungeon is unfolding as they delve deeper. And if you're playing online, the digital card images included will be perfect for your chosen VTT, or the pdf also included could be printed out on paper to fit players' tokens, resized easily with one inch squares.

Dungeon Solo. Snap alone for solo games. Whip out your deck on trips or on a rainy day, drawing cards at random, and create a dungeon encounter on the fly to go along with your solo rpg or choose your own path book of choice.

Dungeon Snap. Snap for simple fun together. Using the classic dungeon symbols you'll see on each card, you can even play the classic game of Snap or Pairs!

Stored in a beautiful tuck box and packed with sturdy, tarot-sized cards, you'll be able to take this deck along to your sessions or to plan ahead, injecting even more juice to the encounters you present.

What are Dungeon Geomorphs?

Released from 1976 by Gary Gygax and TSR, the first sets of Dungeon Geomorph cards were intended to be DM aids, consisting of innovative dungeon map sections that could be cut apart and assembled together like puzzle pieces in various formations. The initial blue-coloured sets included typical & unusual dungeon corridors and rooms, both small and large, and also even a medieval walled city, the idea being for the dungeon master to sling together a complex dungeon in minutes, something the group mapper amongst the players would then be able to recreate with pen & paper as the party delved deeper into it.

Basically, pure unadulterated inspiration that could be fleshed out in preparation or used on the fly.

How will YOU use The Snap?

These cards are very much inspired by those old school classic pencil & paper dungeon maps.

With this deck, therefore, you'll be able to use it in much the same way as those original geomorphs, snapping together the cards to lay out dungeons during preparation or play, even just for some inspiration, but in-between games or if you're waiting for someone to arrive at the table, you could also have a bit of fun playing Snap or Pairs / Memory with the deck to pass the time, the dungeon symbols on the corners of each card matching up to create pairs.

So how will you use this deck? If you've any questions or ideas, let me know in The Realm

Enjoy, and happy rollin'!
