Description

I just love creating isometrics maps. They always remind me of my games as a kid, in tight dungeon spaces you couldn't swing a cat in never mind an axe, where around every corner danger might lurk. This one is a corridor leading into an arcane vortex that is either swallowing this portion of the dungeon or has been placed here deliberately to suck in any passing adventurer.

Encounter Hook

Rounding the corridor, the party learns just what in the Nine Hells has been wafting such a terrifying noise into every dark corner of this place. A whirling vortex crackles and sparks up ahead, the corridor leading into it seemingly being swallowed brick by brick into its blackened maw, the walls crumbling, the very foundations of the dungeon breaking apart. From the wound at the heart of this destructive vortex, dark shapes can be seen dragging themselves towards the party…
