Description

This one was part of a recent map commission. The premise was that this was a network of underground corridors featuring rooms, office, store, and cells beneath a Gothic tavern, the guests mainly being vampires. Zoom in to catch all the detail!

So you'll see that there are a number of private rooms with coffins for the vamps with better coin, and a larger chamber that's like a common room for those with less money to burn. There's also some beds for those with blood in their veins, an office for the manager, cells for those who've been causing havoc, and a well-stocked store room. If you look closely you'll also see some escape ladders out into the streets above.

Encounter Hook

A scream echoes down the dusty corridors beneath the surface, fluttering only slightly above the slow creak of a door. And then, footsteps. Down here, in this cavernous  oubliette decorated for guests known to prefer night over day, is believed to lurk the very creature accused recently of the most heinous, terrifying crimes against the populace. Down here, this creature is at rest; sleeping, it is hoped, amongst more of its kind. But what if it is not? What if, down here, it is very much awake, and aware? Down here...
